Andhra Pradesh, West Godavari District, on the S.E.-coast of India, along the Bay of Bengal.
The delta area can be reached by taking the night train (about a 24 hour journey) from Chennai to Bhimavaran plus another two-hour car trip to Sarripalli/Kalipatnam. From there, many of the villages can only be reached by boat.
Another way to reach the HLWM area is via Hyderabad. The commute to HLWM will, however, take a similar amount of time like the journey from Chennai.
Fortunately, both Chennai and Hyderabad can easily reached by plane from Europe. European airlines offer daily flights to these cities.
