Specific projects (building projects, etc.)
Donations can be allocated to specific projects. In the recent past, HLWM received large donations by institutional sponsors such as Tearfund and private individuals to finance a large community hall and a vocational school. If you are interested, please contact us to find out about current projects.
Both children homes were also partly financed by the Dutch government as the result of a “matching-gift” programme.
General funding
On going funding is very much needed to pay for overheads, etc. Without these means, HLWM would not be able to do its Christian and social work on a daily basis (including paying the Indian staff and covering overheads).
Child sponsorships
With 25 Euro per month a child will receive a loving and caring home in one of our children homes with healthy food and good education. Children attending one of the schools only and visit the day-centres need also sponsors.
Old people
We also take care for old people, who can’t help themselves with one hot meal a day and medical care. Some of them haven’t a roof to live under. For these we build a little hut. With 20 Euro per month elder people we can help them.
